Otology, Neurotology and Hearing Implant Surgeon
Dr Jennifer Lee is an adult and paediatric ENT surgeon with an interest in otology, neurotology and hearing implantation.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with honours from the University of New South Wales in 2007. In 2010, she spent a year conducting medical research at the Kolling Deafness Research Centre, obtaining a Master of Surgery from the University of Sydney. Jennifer then completed specialist training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck (ENT) Surgery, working at Royal Prince Alfred and Prince of Wales Hospitals as a senior advanced trainee. She received ENT training at all three tertiary paediatric referral centres in NSW. After being awarded her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2017, Jennifer undertook two overseas subspecialty clinical fellowships. The first fellowship was in otology and hearing implantation at the Otology and Skull Base Unit at Cambridge University Hospitals, United Kingdom and the second fellowship was in otology, neurotology and skull base surgery at the University of Toronto, Canada.
Jennifer has a strong interest in academic surgery and has published numerous journal articles and book chapters, and presented at national and international conferences. She enjoys teaching and is a surgical instructor with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Jennifer is fluent in Cantonese, and outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and travelling overseas.
